Why Should You Consider a Consultant?
1. Expert in the work - you probably have people to do the work, but can they do it as quickly and efficiently
2. Independent - consultants require little supervision and you control when and how much they work
3. Objectivity - sometimes it's important to bring in a fresh mind to your organization, without biases
4. Dedicated time - an outside consultant can focus exclusively on the work required without being pulled in other directions
5. Flexibility - rather than spending time finding and hiring an employee, a consultant can be available immediately
6. No long-term commitment - when the work is complete, you have no further obligation to them
7. Price - a consultant does not require insurance, vacation time, benefits, etc - straight pay for work done
